Main Info
Cola beach (also ‘Khola’ beach) is one of those Goan beaches that offer tranquil and calm surroundings to the tourists. Apart from the quietude and cleanliness, the pristine beach prides itself on a clear blue lagoon that results due to the river’s flow into the Arabian Sea. There are beautiful coconut trees at the bright sand that glimmers under the sun.
There are not many of the big crowds as the beach lies rather on an off-beaten path. Besides, the visitors are required to cross hills with difficult and sharply rocky terrain. As there are just a few visitors, the beach is perfect for those who look for quietude away from the noise of life.
Merely 4 kms away from the Cola beach lies Agonda beach, one of the famous tourist spots. Besides, unlike any other Goan beaches, you may watch sea eagles and monkeys, apart from the dolphins. The vibes of the beach are also serene.

Or reach the Canacona Railway station that is at a distance of 12 km and rent a taxi or a vehicle. However, it is advisable to hire a taxi rather than a vehicle as the roads are not well structured and if the driver is not familiar with the path, he might get confused.
